Tobi Elizabeth was born with creativity in her blood. She has a very wide range of creative skills, from fashion to set design, studio arts and graphic design, to playing the piano. From an early age, she was painting with her grandmother, and began a love of photography from the moment she was able to use her parents camera. She went to camp with special photography programs that helped her learn the medium when dark rooms and rolls of film were still part of the game. Having fine arts influence, Tobi likes to use the combination of light, color and composition to paint a picture with her camera. She loves to capture moments in life, still frames of life lived. As a child she travelled with her family, and never stopped. Having visited over 25 countries, she can’t get enough of what this world has to offer. Whether that be photographing a surfer catching the wave of the day, taking intimate family portraits, or shooting your new storefront, she finds a way to make it art. She finds most of her inspiration from the wonders of the natural world. Wildlife always fascinated her, and she couldn’t get enough of nature documentaries throughout her young and adult life. She subscribed to National Geographic since she was 13, and in grade school dreamed of one day photographing the world and its wildlife for the publication. As an adult she began collecting vintage National Geographic, and became enamored with its content. She has a strong passion for Mother Earth and its preservation. Being a naturalist, conservationist and environmentalist, Tobi is now aspiring to make her mark as a Conservation Photographer.
